Innovative Public Transport Services - Defining Pilot Actions

On July 22nd, the TRIBUTE project consortium met on the occasion of the Second Steering Committee meeting, which was again held online, due to the epidemiological situation. The Project Partners, however, had the opportunity to consider several technical steps of the project, focusing on two work packages of the greatest importance for the TRIBUTE project: Methodological framework and evaluation & identification of action plans supporting the implementation of innovative and sustainable mobile networks.

As part of the First Work Package, significant progress has been made in identifying relevant participants - more than 190 different participants were presented, while 57 signed letters of intent were collected. This data was then used to develop a methodology for creating the Living Lab, as a new type of public-private-people partnership in which citizens, companies, researchers and public administration work together to find innovative solutions for urban mobility. This cannot be achieved without appropriate action plans.

Accordingly, the City of Milan has scheduled three thematic technical meetings with TRIBUTE project partners, on the specific objectives of the action plans of the project partners and the identification of pilot actions to be developed in TRIBUTE living labs. These online meetings are specifically focused on one of the following strategic approaches to sustainable mobility in the Adriatic-Ionian region: Innovative public transport services, a network of "Green" cycling routes and Management of high-congestion road corridors. In accordance with the set goals of the TRIBUTE project, the City of Novi Sad participated in a subgroup on the topic: Innovative public transport services.

During the development of this, each project partner undertook to send the inputs necessary to identify the Pilot Action and Methodology. As of today, the head of the second priority work package, the City of Milan, managed to complete the activities on the pilot action of recognizing the collected data, while the collection of the Input Methodology for the Action Plan was concluded on October 15th.
