MAYOR OF NOVI SAD MEETS ITALIAN ENTREPRENEURS

Yesterday in the Novi Sad Free Zone, Italian company "Alkemica solutions" opened a plant for recycling of telephone and computer equipment, not including monitors and batteries. In the Novi Sad City Hall, Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević had a meeting with the representatives of this company, as well as with other entrepreneurs from Italy, discussing business activities in the Novi Sad Free Zone and the city’s investment potentials.

The Mayor welcomed them and expressed great satisfaction that the "Alkemica solutions" investment has been successfully implemented and that the company management recognized Novi Sad as a favorable business environment. The Mayor invited entrepreneurs to invest in Novi Sad, expressing readiness of the city government to help in administrative procedures.

The delegation of Italian entrepreneurs expressed that they recognized Novi as excellent place for investment, not only for its geographical position and good traffic connections, but also for the readiness of its government and the Free Zone management to accelerate the process of permit issuance and help in solving complex business processes.

After the meeting in the City Hall, Manager of the Local Economic Development Office prof. Marijana Dukić-Mijatović, PhD, held a presentation about the investment potentials of Novi Sad in the presence of the Novi Sad Mayor Miloš Vučević, the Mayor of the Italian city of Sant’Elpidio a Mare, Alessio Terrenzi, delegations of Italian entrepreneurs (Andolfi&C, ECOR'IT, Dedem Group, Leisure Group, Ecodreaming, Gianfranco Campanari, IPD, Alkemica solutions), the representatives of the City of Novi Sad and Novi Sad Free Zone.

The presentation of the city’s economic potentials included the facts about the possibilities of investments in Novi Sad, information on the infrastructure, traffic connections, taxes and fees, workforce costs, as well as about the bank system in the country, prices of energy sources and general economic data.
