The second meeting of Novi Sad stakeholders for the MISSION project

The second meeting of Novi Sad stakeholders for the MISSION project was attended by representatives of city administrations, organizations and public companies, the University of Novi Sad and associations.

The deputy project manager, Mr. Malešev, greeted the attendees and thanked them for their involvement in the MISSION project, whose goal is to improve the transportation system in Novi Sad using intelligent transportation systems. He briefly presented the activities carried out so far, which are directly related to the participation of Novi Sad stakeholders in the project. He stated that according to information from the last STC (MISSION Steering Committiee) meeting held at the end of September in Belgium, it was announced that the first version of the application should be presented in the first quarter of 2026, and that from then on, more active participation of all stakeholders, including end users of the application, is expected.

After that, Mr. Ivošević, with the participation of competent representatives of stakeholders, primarily JGSP, JP Parking Service, GU for Environmental Protection, and the support of representatives of GU for Traffic and Roads and PUC Informatics, analyzed in detail the open data collected so far that will be used for the development of the application. Competent stakeholders submitted three categories of forms that were analyzed at the meeting and which, after systematization, will be submitted to the leading partner for integration into the working version of the application:

1. Public transport,

2. Pedestrian and bicycle paths,

3. Safety and local roads.

The mentioned data were discussed, with an emphasis on the required formats, and possibilities for the introduction of additional data that would complete the content of the application with the active participation of all present stakeholders.
