NOVI SAD MARKS SCHOOL PATRON SAINT ST. SAVA

 

Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vučević attended the St. Sava Festive Academy held on the occasion of school patron saint, which has been traditionally organized for the 14th time by the representatives of the Mileva Marić Technical School of Novi Sad.

Students of the school, together with their teachers, organized the Festive Academy attended by the principals and headmasters of Novi Sad primary and secondary schools, as well as by numerous guests, partners and associates.

Mayor Vučević addressed the invitees by emphasizing the great honor one feels to be present at the St. Sava Festive Academy organized by the Mileva Marić Technical School of Novi Sad, extending his wishes for all the students to work and study hard, as well as to aspire for success. He also added that the City of Novi Sad and its Administration will continue to fully support education, since investing in education means investing in our country’s prosperous future.

Mileva Marić Technical School of Novi Sad is one of the largest schools in Serbia. It has 260 employees, 2000 students, 83 classes, and over 45 educational tracks. According to its excellent academic results, it is the most successful vocational school in Serbia, with four general modules: civil engineering and geodetics, textile and tanning, non-metal chemistry and graphic art, as well as forestry and wood processing.
