“MILAN PETROVIĆ” SCHOOL RECEIVES TRASNPORTATION VEHICLES

Member of the City Council in Charge for Social Care and Family and Children Protection Professor Nikola Ćirović, PhD, and Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović handed over the keys of Opel Vivaro vehicles to the Principal of the “Milan Petrović” Primary and Secondary School Mr. Slavica Marković.
- City of Novi Sad, through its Social Care and Family and Children Protection Administration, allocated 3 million RSD for vehicle purchase. The vehicle is intended for transportation of students with motoric impairments and is entirely adapted to their specific needs, and in accordance with the Social Protection Improvement Program of the City of Novi Sad for 2015. – said Professor Nikola Ćirović, PhD.
Head of the Mayor’s Office Mr. Aleksandar Petrović stated that apart from this vehicle, the pupils will from today on also have two Fiats at their disposal, provided by the City, also entirely adapted to their particular needs.
- All this speaks on behalf of responsible and serious social policy by the City, which serves at the pleasure of all the beneficiaries of social protections. – said Mr. Petrović.
Principal of the “Milan Petrović” Primary and Secondary School Mr. Slavica Marković extended her gratitude to the City and the assistance, emphasizing that the vehicles they received will have immense importance for the School’s functioning and for the students with motoric impairments.
- The City is making a great effort to enable higher-quality everyday living for those in need, and to enable their easier integration into the society. These vehicles will provide these children a simpler arrival to school, as well as to attend more easily all the programs we organize. – said Ms. Marković.
