MAYOR MIĆIN’S GREETINGS ON THE OCCASION OF THE CHINESE NEW YEAR

The Mayor of Novi Sad, Žarko Mićin, extended his greetings to members of the Chinese community on the occasion of the forthcoming Lunar New Year.

– On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, on behalf of the City of Novi Sad and in my own name, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to all members of the Chinese community living and working in our city and throughout the Serbia. The People's Republic of China and the Republic of Serbia are bound by a sincere and steadfast steel friendship, further strengthened by the strong relations and personal commitment of our Presidents, Aleksandar Vučić and Xi Jinping, who have laid the foundations for strategic cooperation and mutual trust between our two peoples.The Chinese community and Chinese companies make a significant contribution to Serbia’s economic development, infrastructure advancement and technological progress. We are particularly proud of the contribution made by Chinese workers, experts and investors to the development of Novi Sad, as together we continue to build an even more modern and successful city.The Year of the Horse, as a symbol of energy, perseverance, hard work and progress, carries a message of moving forward together and creating new values. These are precisely the values we recognise in the cooperation between our peoples and in the steel friendship that continues to grow stronger year by year.
