- It is my exceptional pleasure to have the opportunity to address the members of the Novi Sad Student Parliament, and that in direct communication, discuss the question of youth safety in our city. It is very important for all of us to hear htier voice, and to see from their perspective which are the aspects where general safety can be improved. Our task is to improve these things throughout the year, not only during one day or one week. I thank the representatives of the Novi Sad Police Administration, Novi Sad Emergency Situation Administration, as well as all the NGOs for their comprehensive information, useful instructions and presentations. The things we learned today and the people we hosted today will assist Novi Sad in preventing these unfortunate events and situations. Our youth must participate in all these activities, so they never again become victims, but an unavoidable stakeholder of establishing and general public safety. – said Mayor Vučević.

On behalf of the City Commission for Holidays, Awards and International City Cooperation, Mr. Zdravko Jelušić stated that the Commission was unanimous in agreeing that the Initiative proposed by the Citizens’ Association “Truth-Tamara’s Law” should be observed.
