Construction of a wastewater sewer network in Veternik, north of Novosadski put – Phase 2, and south of Novosadski put

Project scope:
The project covers the construction of a sanitary wastewater sewer network in parts of Veternik located both north and south of Novosadski put, as well as two pumping stations. The works are planned to be carried out in phases across five catchment areas.

The total number of planned household connections is 327.

1. Marije Bursać catchment – completed in previous years and includes the following streets: Jovana Bjelića, Svetolika Rankovića, Mladena Stojanovića, Nova, and Cetinjska. The total length of the constructed sewer network is 1,488.90 m.

Under the 2026 programme, construction of the wastewater sewer network in Veternik (north of Novosadski put – Phase 2, and south of Novosadski put) is planned, with allocated funding of 255 million dinars (including VAT), structured as a two-year financing scheme (2026: 218.6 million; 2027: 36.4 million dinars).

This contract will cover the construction of 3,090 m of sewer network across the remaining four catchment areas, as follows:

2. Somborska catchment – includes the streets Judita Šalgo, Sofije Pasković, Somborska Rampa, and Veterniĉka Rampa 16 (Paula Šosberg). The total planned sewer length is 814.30 m.

3. Novosadski put catchment – at the request of the investor, this catchment replaces the originally planned Paunova catchment. The works include part of Somborska Rampa street, with a planned sewer length of 172.60 m.

4. Devet Jugovića catchment – includes parts of Devet Jugovića, Nova 3, Vladike Maksima, Nova 2, Kajmakčalanska, Novoplanirana 1, Novoplanirana 2, and Vojvode Bojovića streets. The total planned sewer length is 2,103 m.

5. Cerska catchment – total planned sewer length is 318.80 m. The works cover Pavla Julinca and Vase Eškićevića streets. Sewer construction in Pavla Julinca Street was completed last year, with the remaining works to be carried out in Vase Eškićevića Street over a length of 228 m.
