Be the first to test the new e-services provided by the City of Novi Sad within the CLIPS Project

City of Novi Sad, together with the PUC "Informatics" and DunavNet company, within an 11-member consortium consisting of stakeholders from five European countries, is implementing the CLIPS project, whose aim is to create pilot innovative public services by using cloud-computing. The testing phase in isolated conditions is finalized, and now we appeal to citizens to join the testing phase in realistic conditions.

The project envisages that, by using the pilot, one can demonstrate and evaluate the possibility of using cloud technologies for optimization and efficient implementation of various city services, enabling thereby the citizens to use such services much more easily, as well as to create the basis for new services by individuals and interested enterprises.

Citizens who apply for testing this new potential service, will enable us with their comments and suggestions to verify whether the utilized technological solutions correspond to real requirements. All those interested in contributing to creation process of this modern service can register at clips.dunavnet.eu and:

  • access the record of their invoice registry kept at the PUC "Informatics",
  • increase the number of household members (for individual housing it is possible to increase or decrease the number of household members, for collective housing increasing the number is possible),
  • review the offers by various insurance companies,
  • companies which create their own applications and services can use open-source data provided by the city administration.

Moreover, citizens are invited to download the smartphone application mojNS, at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eu.smartsantander.part... through which they can report certain utility problems to competent public services.

Beside Novi Sad, pilot services within the CLIPS project are also tested in Bremerhaven (Germany), Lecce (Italy) and Santander (Spain). The full title of the EU Project financed through funds of the FP7 Program is the Cloud Approach For Innovation In Public Services.
