Novi Sad Mayor Miloš Vučević received in the City Hall  “The Regional Youth Leadership Forum“ conference participants, which takes place from 25th  to 28th  March in Novi Sad, organized by the European Movement in Serbia - Local Council in Novi Sad. The aim of the Forum is to contribute to the regional cooperation in the Western Balkans as well as to the future cooperation between young people from Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Serbia.

- We are proud that Novi Sad is hosting future leaders of the regional countries event, encompassing distinguished experts who are recognized in different spheres of social life, including politics, economics, sociology and culture, and all of its important segments. This is the true picture we want to send from Novi Sad, which was also a co-organizer of this event. I am glad that there is synergy between the City, the European Movement in Serbia and all the institutions at this level, since the mutual cooperation is very important. I hope that we will be hosting similar events more often. These young people will quickly assume much greater responsibility than we have today and they will influence the quality of our environment in the best possible way - Mayor Vučević said, wishing all the participants of the Forum successful conference and a pleasant stay in Novi Sad.

Chairman of the Executive Board of the European Movement in Serbia - Local Council in Novi Sad Nemanja Predojević thanked the Mayor for the reception and the support to this movement in the realization of the conference provided by the City of Novi Sad. He also stressed that it is particularly important that Novi Sad today represents the center of young leaders who have been establishing an excellent cooperation.

Around 200 young students in their final year, master and doctoral students from all Balkan countries will participate in the “Regional Youth Leadership Forum” in Novi Sad and attend lectures and discussions on European integration, regional cooperation, economy, media and culture.
